Note: This is a general-purpose draft, not customized or reviewed by a lawyer for your specific business, jurisdiction, or regulatory obligations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA). Please have it reviewed by a qualified attorney before relying on it.

This Privacy Policy explains how AI Films Studios LLC ("CineFold," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use cinefold.io and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: email address, name, and profile photo (if provided directly or via Google sign-in).
  • Payment information: processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
  • Content you create: prompts, uploaded reference images, and generated images/video/music.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, credits consumed, and similar diagnostic information.
  • Device & log data: IP address, browser type, and similar technical information collected automatically.
  • Cookies: see Section 5 below.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service (including processing your generation requests);
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions and credits;
  • To send transactional communications (e.g. receipts, account notices, password resets);
  • To send product updates or promotional communications, only where you have opted in — you can opt out at any time;
  • To monitor, secure, and improve the Service, and to detect and prevent abuse;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service, including:

  • AI generation providers (e.g. fal.ai and the underlying model providers it hosts, Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, xAI, ByteDance) — your prompts and reference images are sent to these providers to generate your content;
  • Stripe — for payment processing;
  • Supabase — for authentication and database hosting;
  • Cloudflare — for storage and content delivery of generated media.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CineFold, our users, or others.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described in Section 6.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used, and, only where you consent via our cookie banner, marketing cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@cinefold.io. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. International Transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
